Meet the Author

The author of Jailbirds in Flight is Nicole Daedone, a teacher, author, and cultural innovator known for articulating a radically different understanding of female power, intimacy, and freedom. She is currently incarcerated in the Metropolitan Detention Center, which is the setting of this story.
