Nicole Daedone

Nicole Daedone is a storyteller and erotic artist whose work follows a single question into places others often avoid: Is that true? She enters neglected and misunderstood worlds not to impose an answer, but to listen until their own form and value emerge.

Her art is devoted to what culture discards or denigrates. She looks for the untold beauty in shadow material—transforming each process into a spiritual journey and asking what it might become at its highest expression. Jailbirds in Flight brings that practice into prison: envisioning how confinement might become monastery, and how women pushed from view might be seen as wholly, irreducibly themselves.
